Dr. Palmer is the sole point of contact for both scheduling and patient care. Therefore, the best way to reach her during work hours is typically via text or email. If she is working with a patient, she will be unable to answer the phone. However, she will return your call as soon as she can in between patients or when she is able. It is important to leave a voicemail with your name and number for a callback. Online booking via our website is a great option too!

As a musculoskeletal clinician, Dr. Palmer is legally required to perform a history and examination before rendering treatment to any patient. It is important for her to make sure that she is providing you with the best care for what you are coming in with, whether that is care at Peak & Valley or a referral to another provider.

New patients are seen for a 60-minute visit which includes a history, examination, and a modified treatment. The initial visit is $175.

Yes! Our online booking is a great resource for same day appointments. You will be able to view the soonest available appointment and book it.

We do require all new patients to fill out intake and consent forms prior to your first visit. Once you book your appointment online or over the phone, you will receive an email that will prompt you to complete the forms. Once the forms have been completed and signed they will be sent directly back to Dr. Palmer so that she can review them prior to your appointment. Your appointment will start on time and you’ll receive your full 60 minutes with her.

Peak & Valley is not a walk-in appointment clinic. Feel free to give us a call if you are looking to get in as soon as possible! Sometimes we do have cancellations that can open a time slot. As mentioned above, we love our online booking tool and patients can view the soonest available appointment.

No. The price of each appointment is all-inclusive. Whatever may be needed during your visit is included in the appointment price and will be utilized at the doctor’s discretion.

If needed, imaging can be ordered through SMIL or SimonMed. Dr. Palmer will order the image and afterward, you can call to schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience. Dr. Palmer can access the images online once they are taken and review them with you.

Dr. Palmer is classified as a non-participating, non-assignment provider with Medicare. Patients are required to pay in full at the time of their visit. Dr. Palmer will submit claims to Medicare Part B only. At this time, Medicare only recognizes spinal manipulations for potential reimbursement. Patients may or may not be reimbursed directly for a 98941 or 98940 spinal manipulation code, but there is no guarantee.

If you are looking for a provider that accepts assignment from Medicare, Dr. Palmer is happy to provide you with a referral.

Patients receive an email notification upon booking an appointment, an email 48 hours prior to their visit, and a text message 24 hours prior to their appointment. Because of this and in order to remain fair to all patients, Dr. Palmer enforces no show and late cancellation fees.

No shows will be charged the full amount of the missed appointment.

Late cancellations are classified as any appointment canceled within 24 hours. Those fees will be charged as follows:

  • $50 for 30-minute follow ups
  • $65 for 45-minute follow ups

Patients who have purchased a package will use one visit for no show and late cancellations.

If a patient on the waitlist is able to replace the appointment slot, the fee will be waved.
